Pictures from the Zoo 5/25/09

Even in the rain the zoo was fun and crowded. One panda was hanging out on his gym thing out side. This monkey and G had a staring contest, too funny. This little tortoise was trying to escape his glass enclosure to get out into the rain for some relief from the bright lights of the tourist trap, heh.

G took the pic of me holding the birds, which I think she liked better than holding the birds herself. G and her stick of two birds.

G wanted to go to the parakeet pavillion which we did and paid our dollar for the priviledge of feeding birds. I managed to get two to this stick for G. G even took some pics of me holding the birds.

Then the polar bear interacted with G and other children. Look how the bear is looking at G.

Intense concentration. Sticking your tongue out always helps you cut straighter, right?

Okay, enough pictures, thanks.

Pictures from the Zoo May 13, 2009

We were early to the zoo yesterday getting there before opening. But we had a great day there. We met an FCC family from our town. G even rode the merry-go-round by herself. She even got down from the horse by herself. Now in all honesty, she probably could have done that a long time before now but riding with her grandad is also a special memory for her too.
